Government Response To HSE Triennial Review Published

The long awaited government response to the Martin Temple review of the HSE has just been published, and is available for Download from the E-Library Database.

Pic: click to download documentThe review was intended to provide the government with evidence which would support their policy of privatising the HSE, making it more commercial, and making it 100% business friendly by implementing further strategies of the 'hands-off businesses' approach that the government demands.

With the background to this review being that previous reviews have not provided what the government wants, it is clear that the government, as it did with the Loefsted report, simply ignore the findings and implement their own agenda. Further, review after review is clearly the government's intent until it gets what it wants - a totally nutered HSE and an environment of no preemptive action by HSE to stop deaths and injuries caused by working environments, procedures and irresponsible employers. In short an employers licence to kill with impunity.

Further analysis of the government response document will appear on this website.
